    Here’s the problem with these discussions and the way record sales are still being looked at: focus is still on the GROSS and not the NET. Would Radiohead have sold more than 122k their first week is a “major” released the physical album? Maybe. Would that major have spent A LOT more more in marketing the album (A much higher % more than reflected in sales?) Absolutely.
    What do you think the NET gain was for Radiohead in terms of control, finances and credibility? You be the judge.
